We all enjoyed watching her fr0lic in the backyard with the kids and then collapse exhausted into a little puppy nap...usually at Mamaw's feet. She enjoyed chasing the soccer ball, running laps around the backyard and giving big sloppy kisses, which we all enjoyed as well!

And what did the cats think of all this puppy power? Well, at first they just watched her every move from the stairs (we nicknamed them "Bonnie and Clyde" while they were "behind bars") and then over the weekend became more brazen and would walk through the room she was in, either in full "puff", or nearer the end of the visit, pretending that she wasn't there at all!

When we weren't playing with Joy we spent a lot of time playing games....Wayne, Papaw (who eventually was renamed "Pappy" by Abby and "Paw" by Peter) and Tonya played a cutthroat game of Uno that lasted the better part of Saturday night. Lesson Learned: Don't change the rules in the middle of the game! Aunt Tonya and Mamaw also learned the finer points of Cariboo, Balloon Lagoon, Red Light/Green Light (or in this case Red Ball/Green Ball) and Rush Hour. As the picture here shows, sometimes they played the games simultaneously!
