While at dinner Abby was explaining how frustrated she was with a couple of her friends at school:
Abby: So, I tried to say it nicely, but they got mad ANYWAY...
Mom: What did were you trying to say?
Abby: Um...all I said was "Duh...Its my Birth-DAY!"... and they got mad!
Mom: Well, as a general rule, there is NO NICE WAY to say a ANYTHING that starts with the word "Duh..."
Abby: (thinking about this) oh.
