You can take the boy out of Wisconsin....

...but you can't take Wisconsin out of the boy! The compacted sleet has frozen into a solid base, so Wayne dusted off the ice skates and hockey sticks for some backyard practice!

Unfortunately our Zambino is in the shop and he hit a rough spot and took a bit of a tumble...providing the perfect object lesson for why you should always wear your gloves. Undaunted, he and Peter are trying to figure out the logistics for flooding the backyard next year to make a real rink!

Well son you looked very professional on your ice skates with your hockey stick, it does bring back memories, do hope you will keep safe and wear some protection the next time. Take care of the cuts and as always you and your family be blessed. We love you all very much. Mom & Dad

Only smart people wear gloves Paw... the dumb ones are the only ones to think they are tough enough to feel no pain! :-) Boo-yah! Next time, I'll be smart enough to dust off the hockey gloves, which I think are deeply buried in the shed.
